I know. It’s awesome. Already on its second go around on Ebay. Resistance may be futile, but I just bought a new motor for my Le Car. It’s too bad it wasn’t done on a round headlight car just like the originals.

I didn’t catch it on ebay, although I remember the same car being up for sale a few years ago.
Although I like the looks of the earlier models, I like that the face lifted ones can run on regular unleaded. I think if I found another it’d be one of the 80s ones, or I’d put an 80s motor in a 70s model.

Yeah, I think I remember it being for sale then, too. It’s nicely done. I love all the vintage police equipment.
My ‘78's have always run fine on unleaded. But, the new motor is from the 80's. I’ll see if I notice a difference.

I think the California ones were always fine on unleaded for emissions reasons. Mine however needed premium and probably wasn’t too happy about the unleaded part either.
